• Confirm the controller speed command matches the controller speed feedback.

• Confirm the controller speed feedback matches the drive’s speed feedback.

• Confirm the contract speed configured on the drive matches the value under: SETUP | SPEEDS | CONTRACT SPEED Adjust the drive’s parameters accordingly.

• Reduce S-Curve values if needed.

Confirm door signals when doors are open and closed:

• Manual Doors: DPM, TCL, MCL, BCL

• Automatic Doors: DOL, DCL, PHE

• Freight/Swing Doors: DOL, DCL, PHE, TCL, MCL, BCL

• Put the car on inspection and command the doors to fully open.

• Check which front door signal is not indicating "open" (e.g., GSW, DOL, DCL, DPM, Locks).

• Verify the door open time is less than the timeout under: MAIN MENU | SETUP | DOOR SETUP | DOOR STUCK TIMER If the time exceeds the limit, increase the timeout value.

• Check for miswiring on the CN2 network.

• If the communication loss is between COP and CT:

    - CT CPLD fault LED flashes

    - MR CPLD fault LED is solid

    - Measure voltage on CN2+ and CN2– at the CT board:

           - CN2+ to REF ≈ 2.88 V

           - CN2– to REF ≈ 1.95 V

• If the loss is between CT and MR:

   - MR CPLD fault LED flashes

   - Measure voltage on CN2+ and CN2– at the MR board:

           - CN2+ to REF ≈ 2.88 V

           - CN2– to REF ≈ 1.95 V

• Check the CT/COP toggle switch is in the correct state for each board.

• Make sure DIP 1B is set to OFF for CT and ON for COP.

If the controller is stuck in a non-normal mode (e.g., Fire Phase I, Earthquake):

• Verify all required inputs are connected.

• Turn DIP Switch 1 ON and press the RESET button on the SRU board.

• Then, turn DIP Switch 1 OFF.

Navigate to: Main Menu | Debug | Edit parameters | Hex Format | 01-0238 -> ON.

Turn DIP B6 ON and navigate to: Main Menu | Debug | Edit parameters | Hex Format | 01-0131 -> ON.

Set: Main Menu | Debug | Edit Parameters | Hex Format | 01-0019 -> ON.

Set: Main Menu | Debug | Edit Parameters | Hex Format | 01-0161 -> ON.

If the motor runs in the reverse direction:
On the Magnetek Keypad:

• Press the Right Arrow until "Configure C0" is displayed

• Press Down until "User Switches C1" is displayed

• Press Enter, then Down until "Motor Rotation" is displayed

• Press Enter followed by Up to change the setting from Forward to Reverse, and vice versa

• Press Enter to save the setting

• Try increasing Brake Pick delay: Main Menu | Setup | Run Timers | Brake Pick Delay.

• Try Increasing Min Accel Speed: Main Menu | Setup | Speeds | Min Accel Speed.

• Confirm MM input is jumped to M24

• Ensure the controller displays “Construction Mode”

• Check for active faults: Main Menu → Faults → Active Faults

• Try moving the car using Enable + Up/Down on the controller

• Turn Construction Box ON: Main Menu | Setup | Misc | Enable Construction Box → ON

• Then use the construction box to run the car
